Operations Research Analyst Senior - Full-time

**Description** SAIC is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to support the TSA customer in Washington D.C. Come join our team of professionals that provide TSA with information to support the procurement/rollout of new screening technologies and procedures to keep our transportation system safe. The team prefers a local candidate in the DCMV area, as onsite customer support in Arlington and Alexandria, VA is required periodically. Job duties include but are not limited to: + Writing detailed reports that explain data results and their associated operational impacts. + Creating test plans that adhere to DHS and TSA standards and data collection strategies based on system requirements. + Cleaning and maintaining large datasets in relational databases (MS-Access and SQL Server). + Conducting both descriptive and inferential statistical analyses utilizing Python and/or R to identify trends and draw conclusions. + Providing thoughtful feedback to the data collection team throughout testing to enhance collection methodologies resulting in usable data. + Maintaining NETSco models of airport checkpoints. **Qualifications** Required Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience. + Proven ability to prioritize and execute workload to meet requirements and deadlines. + Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. + Must be able to obtain a DHS suitability clearance. + Experience with Python and/or R. + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. + Experience with Java. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with TSA. + Experience with NetSco.
