Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Dedicated Local Flatbed Drivers in Concord, NC. Drivers will be locally delivering forklifts, tow motors and their parts on flatbed trailers. Compensation

• Hourly pay rate: $29 - $31
• Average hours weekly: 40-50 
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Bonuses:
  • Sign-on bonus: $1,500

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Starting around 7 - 7:30am
• Route: Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Concord, NC
• Level of Touch: Loading & unloading freight, must secure freight
  • Includes strapping, blocking, and chaining

Equipment

• Newer model trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 68 mph 
• ELD equipped using Geotab
• Outward facing camera

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have 1 year of flatbed driving experience
• Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
• No felony in the past 7 years
• No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Concord, NC
