Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner

A community services organization in Rhode Island is actively seeking a new, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their staff for a two-day event in Johnston.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: July 23rd thru July 24th

• Hours: 7:00am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough History and Physical (H&P) exams for attendees

• Collect detailed patient histories, including medical, family, and social backgrounds

• Perform physical assessments to evaluate attendees' health status

• Order necessary diagnostic tests or screenings on-site

• Provide immediate care recommendations and referrals if needed

• Collaborate with the event healthcare team to ensure efficient and accurate care

• Document all interactions and findings in a streamlined manner

• Educate participants on health concerns, prevention, and follow-up care

• Ensure compliance with event health protocols and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) license

• Must be DOT Certified
