Job Description
The Opportunity | Dorcas Ministries
In June of 1968, a small group of community members, brought together by Margaret Keller, met together to address a common concern: how to best serve neighbors in need. Over time, the organization’s services have expanded to include financial and emergency food assistance, career coaching, workforce development and so much more. We are also proud to be the home of one of North Carolina's top-rated thrift stores.
Dorcas Ministries strives to find solutions to the needs of the community, hoping to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. With more than 1,000 volunteers seeking to uphold the organization’s core values of compassion, dignity, innovation and stewardship, Dorcas is proud to be able to serve the community and help our neighbors thrive.
