We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our team in Clarksville, TN! Relocation assistance provided.
By achieving a zero-accident rate through observation, training, and documentation of safety, fire prevention, and occupational health-related laws and regulations, in this role, you will coordinate regulatory programs and manage permitting applications. You will be expected to identify opportunities to reduce safety and occupational health liabilities while leading the development of responsible, proactive programs that reflect a culture of safety. Additionally, you'll plan and administer training and awareness programs related to safety, prevention, protection, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement safety, occupational health, and fire prevention programs; manage related KPIs.
Develop and execute all safety and occupational health initiatives.
Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and other safety evaluations.
Lead incident investigations and perform Root Cause Analyses.
Provide daily guidance on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across the organization.
Deliver ongoing safety and occupational health training to employees.
Foster positive, proactive relationships with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
Maintain records and filing systems for safety training and compliance (e.g., OSHA Logs, HazCom, Training Logs).
Oversee and manage worker’s compensation claims and related programs.
Monitor accident statistics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Implement and manage the Safety and Occupational Health Management System (ISO 45001).
Lead internal and external audits and manage evaluation processes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in safety and occupational health management.
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
Relevant safety certifications such as CSP (preferred).
