Operating Room RN Travel Assignment
Location: New Orleans, LA

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. Join a respected surgical team in a leading medical center while experiencing the rich culture, music, and food of this vibrant city.

Assignment Details:

• Travel/contract position

• petitive pay based on experience

• Full-time schedule with potential for call and overtime

Job Requirements:

• Provide professional perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control policies at all times

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses

• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond promptly to any changes

• Document patient care and operative details accurately and thoroughly

Needed Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Louisiana (or pact license eligible)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room nursing experience

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent munication and teamwork abilities
