Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position spans the entire school year and offers a standard 37.5-hour workweek, providing a consistent schedule to focus on student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral strengths and needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Support K-12 students through counseling and consultation services aimed at improving academic and social outcomes
- Participate in eligibility and individualized education program (IEP) meetings to ensure appropriate support services
- Utilize data-driven approaches to evaluate intervention effectiveness and guide student support plans
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and providing counseling services within K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of educational laws, special education processes, and best practices in school psychology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule with a focus on comprehensive student support
