Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – PRMC – Direct Hire

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM & every third weekend

Compensation:

• Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner: $23.36 – $35.04/hour
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner: $24.72 – $37.07/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000

Position Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides therapeutic respiratory care and bedside diagnostic procedures to patients of all ages. The RRT is responsible for evaluating patients, maintaining and adjusting respiratory care plans, and ensuring high-quality care delivery. This role also includes mentoring students and new hires as a preceptor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate patient conditions and modify care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as a preceptor for students and new team members.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Current Indiana State License for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS and NRP certifications required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
• PALS and STABLE certifications preferred (not required).

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be available for on-call duties.
