Job Description
Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Empowerment in Action. Purpose in Every Session.

At Speech Tactics, we don't just follow the standard—we redefine it. As an innovative, forward-thinking pediatric therapy organization, we are building something bold and meaningful: an interdisciplinary model of care where every role is essential, and every voice matters. We know that SLPAs are not assistants to the mission—they are part of it. We deeply value the skill, dedication, and clinical impact SLPAs bring to speech-language pathology. If you're looking for a team that honors your craft, invests in your growth, and gives you a seat at the table, you've found your home.

Who We Are

Speech Tactics is Charlotte's premier interdisciplinary pediatric therapy center, providing compassionate, high-quality care to children with neurodevelopmental differences. Our team includes SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, and psychologists working together to support communication, functional skills, and overall well-being for the whole child and family.

About the Role

We're hiring a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support therapy services for children from birth through adolescence. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping children communicate, connect, and thrive.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

  • Carry out individualized treatment plans and goals with clarity and care.

  • Provide home exercise programs and coaching to families to support carryover.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during progress reports and care planning.

  • Document sessions accurately and contribute meaningfully to team communication.

  • Participate in ongoing supervision, mentorship, and development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid SLP-Assistant license in North Carolina.

  • Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.

  • Spanish language fluency is a plus!

  • 2 years of pediatric experience preferred (but not required).

  • Early Childhood Intervention experience is a plus.

What You Can Expect at Speech Tactics
  • A team that values and respects the work of SLPAs.

  • Access to mentorship and leadership development pathways.

  • A collaborative and welcoming workplace culture.

  • Opportunities to grow within a clinic-based interdisciplinary model.

>>> Compensation & Benefits Include:

  • Competitive pay with commission bonus opportunities

  • Full-time, part-time, and FFS roles available

  • Paid maternity leave (for eligible employees)

  • Paid time off, holidays, and wellness days

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (if eligible)

  • 401K retirement plan (if eligible)

  • CEU stipend and clinical mentorship

Note: Some benefits are based on full-time employment status.

At Speech Tactics, we understand that great candidates bring more than just credentials. If your passion, values, and experience align—even if your background looks a little different—we encourage you to apply. Let's build something extraordinary, together.
