POSITION TITLE: I&C ENGINEER

DUTIES:

• Provide support engineering services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams.
• Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development, and generation of design output documents, including but not limited to:
  • P Control Logics
  • Loop Diagrams
  • Instrument Indices
  • Setpoint Lists
  • Instrument and Control Valve Specifications
  • DCS and PLC Design
  • Instrument Location and Installation Design
  • Panel Layouts
  • Vendor Document Review
• Individual, at times, will be required to travel off-site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other Engineering organizations.
• Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures.
  Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
  • BS Degree in one of the following disciplines:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Nuclear Engineering
    • I&C Engineering
    • or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.
      
      
• Experience/Skills:
  • Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear orprocess chemical industry.
  • Candidate must demonstrate design experience withPLCs and distributed control systems.
  • Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
  • Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.
    
    

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four daysper week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B).

The work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
