POSITION TITLE: I&C ENGINEER
DUTIES:
- Provide support engineering services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams.
- Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development, and generation of design output documents, including but not limited to:
- P Control Logics
- Loop Diagrams
- Instrument Indices
- Setpoint Lists
- Instrument and Control Valve Specifications
- DCS and PLC Design
- Instrument Location and Installation Design
- Panel Layouts
- Vendor Document Review
- Individual, at times, will be required to travel off-site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other Engineering organizations.
- Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures.
Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- BS Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Nuclear Engineering
- I&C Engineering
- or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.
- BS Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Experience/Skills:
- Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear orprocess chemical industry.
- Candidate must demonstrate design experience withPLCs and distributed control systems.
- Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
- Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.
Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four daysper week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B).
The work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.

A security clearance is not required.
