Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Systems

• Solve shop-floor technical issues and improve work practices

• Support new product development and prototype builds

• Develop and improve assembly and testing processes for cooling systems

• Lead facility upgrades and capital equipment projects

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards

• Create work instructions, routings, and training materials

• Drive lean manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives

• Analyze workflow and improve efficiency with automation and new tools

• Support component updates, product changes, and agency audits

• Lead or support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and ECNs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred

• Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude

• Experience with lean manufacturing, process design, and NPI

• Proficient in tools like SolidWorks, DraftSight, Excel, and MS Project

• Bonus: Experience with refrigeration systems, PPAP, and facility planning

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical assemblies

• Knowledge of torque tools, work cell design, and process improvement

• Ability to lead projects and work independently
