• 2nd = 2pm to 10pm (M-F) + every other Saturday
• 3rd = 10pm to 6am (M-F) + every other Saturday

Job Details:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in the manufacturing industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Packaging Operator to join our team. This role will be responsible for handling packaging operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety, quality control, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food processing and Critical Control Point (CCP) Checks.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Operating high-speed packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Performing CCP checks to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
3. Adhering to GMP and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
4. Conducting routine quality control checks and documenting results accurately.
5. Collaborating with the production team to meet output and efficiency goals.
6. Troubleshooting any issues with the packaging equipment and resolving them promptly.
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards.
9. Assisting with inventory management and ensuring that packaging materials are available as needed.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in food processing, packaging operations, and high-speed packaging.
3. Solid understanding of GMP, food safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
4. Experience in performing CCP checks and documenting results accurately.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. High level of attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
9. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
