Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Director of Supply Chain in our esteemed Food Manufacturing Industry. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead, strategize, and optimize our supply chain processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain management, including demand planning, logistics, 3PL management, vendor contracts, production planning, purchasing, and cost reduction. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's business goals.
2. Oversee demand planning processes to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels.
3. Manage logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and 3PL relationships.
4. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
5. Lead production planning initiatives to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
6. Oversee purchasing activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
7. Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain to enhance profitability.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve supply chain issues.
9. Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics.
10. Stay abreast of latest supply chain trends and technologies and implement best practices.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain management in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in demand planning, logistics, 3PL management, vendor contracts, production planning, purchasing, and cost reduction.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful vendor contract negotiations.
6. Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
10. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
