As our Assistant Manager, you will be the right hand to the General Manager, playing a crucial role in the daily success of the restaurant. You will help lead our talented team, drive operational excellence, and ensure every guest who walks through our doors has a wicked good experience. Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire: Supervise, train, and motivate our Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) teams to deliver exceptional service and quality.
Oversee Daily Operations: Manage opening and closing shifts, ensuring the restaurant is running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Champion Guest Satisfaction: Engage with guests, build relationships with regulars, and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Drive Financial Performance: Assist the General Manager in managing budgets, controlling costs (labor, food, liquor), and maximizing profitability without compromising quality.
Uphold Standards: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain the high standards of food quality, presentation, and service that Wicked Cantina is known for.
Inventory & Ordering: Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining pars for bar and food items.
Team Development: Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
Proven leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and staff development.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH management.
Experience with inventory management, cost control, and P&L statements is a plus.
Proficiency with POS systems (e.g., Aloha, Toast) and restaurant scheduling software.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
ServSafe Manager Certification is highly preferred.
