Material Handler Loader

RainDance Roofing is a local business in the greater Asheville area and we regard our employees as family. We work together on every project, depend on each other to succeed, and make sure our standard is built on communication. 

As Material Handler at RainDance Roofing you will play a vital role in assisting each job with the proper material to create a stress-free project. You will be provided with a spreadsheet to keep up with the responsibilities of inventory management. You will be working closely with our project managers, and crews to bring them the materials they need to finish a project with high quality. 

The Material Handler will be compensated hourly with the ability to work overtime. Quality bonus possible.

Responsibilities

- Pick up materials from our inventory or from our distributors and deliver to the job sites

- Pick up large loads with a trailer and deliver to a jobsite or to our inventory site

- Organize and log inventory

- Work with and report to the Project Manager

- Make multiple deliveries to one site

- Practice safety driving and handling procedures at all times

Qualifications

- Verbal Communication Skills

- Phone and email communication skills

- Construction Background (preferred, but not necessary)

- Able to drive with a trailer safely

- Operate heavy machinery safely (bonus)

- Able to make small exterior home repairs (bonus)

- Willing to learn internal software

- Attention to detail

- Ability to work under pressure 

- Punctual and team oriented 

- Valid Driver's License

- Must be a US Citizen

- Must live within 50 mi radius of Fletcher, NC

- Friendly and personable

- Excel Skills (optional)
