This is a Direct Hire Permanent position.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled or emergency repairs. Performing regular preventive maintenance which also includes maintaining supporting documentation for the PM's.
1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the maintenance manager.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office, as well as work order systems. (EAM)
• Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times.
Experience with electrical systems (starters fuses, contacts, relays, 3 phase, resolving electrical issues) up to 480 v.; reading and writing electrical diagrams, schematics, mechanical blueprints, building small panels. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, presses, cnc, grinders, PLC's. Building maintenance (small installations, light fixtures, plumbing).
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 years of Industrial Maintenance Equipment Repair experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Apprentice program preferred.
• Able to communicate and take direction from Maintenance Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
• Attention to detail.
• Legible record-keeping and data entry skills.
• Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
