About The Position

 We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in West Virginia. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 2-4 weeks per month, starting from 09/19/2025, with an 84-day assignment and potential for extension. The role involves 24-hour call coverage, clinic duties including consults and admissions, and night/weekend call. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with interventional procedures, including balloon pumps and Impella devices. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage during assigned weeks

• Conduct clinic duties, including consults and admissions

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures

• Handle night and weekend call responsibilities

• Collaborate with Non-Invasive Cardiologists for general cardiology patient care

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Manage complex cardiac cases requiring interventional procedures

• Operate and manage balloon pumps and Impella devices

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in West Virginia

• Experience with balloon pumps and Impella devices is required

• TAVR procedures are not currently performed at this facility
