Gastroenterology Physician

Permanent Gastroenterology Physician Position in Lawrenceville, GA

Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected gastroenterology practice in North East Atlanta. The facility is committed to providing high-quality care and is currently seeking two physicians to enhance their team of professionals. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will have the chance to make a significant impact in the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care for GI hospitalist patients, including unassigned patients and those from the practice.
• Deliver general gastroenterology services in an inpatient setting.
• Work on a 7-on/7-off schedule, totaling 22 weeks per year.
• Consult on inpatient cases from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Collaborate with two inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) covering 7 days a week.
• Night calls are managed by current physicians within the practice.
• Participate in team coverage for the remaining hospitalist shifts.
• New graduate candidates are welcomed (through 2025).

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Clear malpractice history (preferred).
• DEA registration required prior to start.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Georgia State License (or ability to obtain)
• DEA Registration (required prior to start)
