Schools - Physical Therapist

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In Riverside, CA, an opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential on-site physical therapy services in an educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, addressing their individual needs and fostering their development.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in California
• Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
• Commitment to working collaboratively with educational staff

Location:

• Riverside, CA

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 16 students.
• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student development.
