Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for dedicated Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants seeking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Craig, CO, and spans the 2025-2026 school year, focusing on providing essential therapeutic services to students across multiple school sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Colorado
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential, if applicable
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes
Location:Craig, Colorado
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with established IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as required.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student development.
