We sell and service powersport vehicles (fun toys) including motorcycles, ATVs, etc. and are seeking an Apparel & Ride Gear Sales Associate to sell customers a huge variety of helmets, jackets, boots, gloves, and lifestyle apparel. This role blends retail sales, product knowledge, and a passion for powersports to ensure customers feel safe, stylish, and ready for their next ride. Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with customers to sell a huge variety of powersport apparel and riding gear merchandise, suggest special promotions, ask for the sale, overcome objections, and more!
- Greet customers, assess their needs and recommend appropriate products based on style, function, and safety
- Stock merchandise and ensure displays are appealing and clean
- Assist customers with merchandise returns
- Develop relationships with customers to encourage repeat sales and referral business
- Learn about gear brands, technologies, sizing, etc.
- Stay current on product releases, safety standards, and seasonal gear trends.
- Support promotions, events, and customer loyalty programs related to gear and apparel.
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to cross-sell gear with vehicle purchases.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with ordering as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior retail sales or customer service experience with powersports, outdoor, or sporting goods preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Treats all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity.
- Familiar with powersports gear and lifestyle or willing to learn
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Motorcycle endorsement preferred, or the ability to obtain
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as necessary.
