About The Position
We are seeking a Psychiatrist in California for a 130-day locum tenens assignment beginning Aug 18, 2025. The role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, focusing on providing psychiatric care to a predominantly lower-income adult and child population. Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct new patient evaluations, allocating 60-90 minutes per session, including time for dictation
- Perform 30-minute follow-up consultations
- Serve a majorly lower-income population, addressing a wide range of psychiatric conditions
- Manage 12-16 patients per day, ensuring comprehensive care and attention to detail
