Position Summary

Assist with daily inventory and logistics functions by using data collection, reporting and analysis.  Monitor, identify, and report inventory levels for purchased material.  Assist with physical inventory reconciliation/daily cycle count and establish improvements for future physical inventories.  Assist with establishing new planning methods. 

 Essential Functions

  • Maintain warehouse locations up to date as per current location.
  • Label all open boxes and keep all material at appropriate locations.
  • Issue pumps from stores to production as per SAP production order.
  • Issue parts as per production order to production.
  • Complete cycle counts allocated as per plan on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Verify daily GRN material quantity and physical material quantity.
  • Daily cycle count assigned as per plan.
  • Assist and participate in complete annual physical inventory count.
  • Coordinate with production the scheduling of work orders to be pulled and issued.
  • Contact purchasing with any concerns regarding part shortages on jobs and past due purchase orders.
  • Submit requests for parts to maintain min/max levels to purchasing.
  • Improve and maintain 5S in your area and make suggestions for improvements.
  • Clean and maintain pump and spares in good condition at all times.
  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
  • Report any machinery issues to management.
  • Operate Forklift within proper safety parameters.
  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe.
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Able to work 8+ hour shifts standing.
  • Inventory, and forklift experience.
  • Flexible schedule and available to work weekends if necessary.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A willingness to always comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and administer multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
