Pool Plumbing & Equipment Technician

Contractor looking for an experienced pool plumbing technician to join our team. Must have experience with pipe sizes up through 4” at minimum and experience with larger pipe is even better. General knowledge of pool equipment and how plumbing components join up with equipment. Must be able to read and understand a set of plans and must have the skill set to ask questions when uncertain about tasks presented. The position does not stop just at pipe fitting and setting of equipment, you must be willing to be flexible and work on additional items outside of these tasks such as general construction if/when asked upon which could require some level of hand excavation or form framing, etc.

Knowledge & Requirements:

• A good overall trade knowledge is required.
• Well experienced in measuring, cutting, and fit-up of pipes both glued and threaded assemblies
• Must be able to read and understand a set of plans
• Understanding of general construction beyond that of just plumbing and pool equipment.
• Must be a quick mover and eager to work. If you are not a fast mover/worker then this is likely not the correct company for you.
• Must be willing to take on what ever tasks are asked of you that day even if it was not specifically plumbing.
• Minimum of 3-years’ experience needed with references.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pool equipment installation and maintenance or other related fields.
• Familiarity with corresponding tools and equipment.
• Ability to hand physical workload - must be able to maintain physical functions including bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Must pass a drug-test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment).

Compensation:

• We are offering between $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, full time, and will be based upon experience and what tools you have.
