Cabinet Designer - Bilingual Spanish

Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Sales Specialist/ Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of kitchen cabinetry for both framed and frameless, and excellent sales skills. You must be proficient with 2020 design software. You will be responsible for guiding customers through selecting the perfect kitchen cabinetry for their homes, offering expert advice, and ensuring a smooth sales process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers, assess their needs, and guide them in selecting the right kitchen cabinets based on their preferences, lifestyle, and budget.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of kitchen cabinet styles, materials, finishes, and configurations, ensuring you can offer informed advice to customers.
• Design Assistance: Use design software or tools to assist customers in creating customized kitchen layouts, incorporating cabinets, countertops, and other kitchen elements.
• Sales Process: Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the sale, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating delivery or installation services.
• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products, such as countertops, hardware, and kitchen accessories.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring complete satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with installation teams, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure timely delivery and accurate installation of kitchen cabinets.
• Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the team or store.
• Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen cabinet showroom is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to customers.
• Follow-up: Conduct post-sale follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years experience in kitchen cabinet sales and design is required
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of kitchen cabinetry, layout, and design. Familiarity with cabinetry brands and materials is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions.
• Tech Skills: Proficiency in using design software 2020 Design. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel) are required. Basic Quickbook skills preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate quotes, measurements, and product recommendations.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate with other departments, such as installation teams, to ensure smooth operations.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate's degree or certification in interior design, sales, or a related field (preferred)

Preferred Bilingual Skills:

• Fluent in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.
