Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This contract position runs from August 27, 2025, to June 16, 2026, in Quincy, WA, where you will play a crucial role in fostering communication skills and addressing the needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington
- ESA certificate required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Location:
Quincy, WA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support
- Provide direct therapy services to students, tailored to their specific needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students overall communication skills
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
