Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists in a K-12 educational setting located in Waterbury, CT. This position is scheduled for the full school year, offering a dynamic environment to support students' communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' overall development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology License
- Initial Educator Teacher Certification (Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology)
- CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP (Clinical Fellow Year) applicants are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
