Job Description
Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled sign language interpreter is sought for the uping summer session and the 2025/2026 school year, providing vital support to early elementary students. This role is based in Marksville, LA, and offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience interpreting in early childhood settings.
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for two early elementary students.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate munication.
- Attend team meetings and participate in the development of student plans.
- Maintain professional standards and stay updated on best practices.
- Document services rendered and monitor student progress.
