Educational Interpreter - Richlands, North Carolina

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Preferred minimum of 3.5 EIPA score; other scores will be considered
• Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of special education processes and terminology is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation for students requiring support
• Collaborate with educational staff to facilitate effective munication
• Assess and assign caseloads based on individual experience and expertise
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality interpretation services throughout the school day
