Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position, based in Midlothian, VA, offers a chance to work with a diverse student population across various grade levels throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy services to students, promoting mobility, functional abilities, and overall participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
- Assess student progress and adapt interventions to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in pliance with relevant educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate state credentials.
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
- Strong munication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
