Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Brookfield, MO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language professional to join their team for a full-time, four-day-per-week contract position during the upcoming school year. This role is an excellent opportunity for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP CCC), clinicians working under Clinical Fellowship Year status (SLP CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants who are passionate about supporting students across various grade levels.

Responsibilities include providing speech and language services to approximately 60 students, with around 40% requiring speech-only interventions. The role involves managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within a special education tracking system and handling Medicaid billing. The position offers valuable experience working with a broad age range from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Desired qualifications:

• Certification or eligibility as an SLP CCC, SLP CFY
• Ability to work full-time, ideally four days a week
• Experience or willingness to work with K-12 student populations
• Proficiency in managing IEPs and familiarity with special education systems
• Understanding of Medicaid billing procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Open to candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year
