Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics and teletherapy within a dynamic K-12 setting in Mountain View, MO. This role focuses on providing essential speech and language services to students, ensuring they receive the support needed to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) tailored to meet each students needs.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to engage with students and facilitate remote sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Provide training and resources to school staff to promote munication skills across the curriculum.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in pliance with educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting.
- Proficient in using teletherapy tools and strategies.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students and families.
- Ability to work independently while being an integral part of the school munity.
