School Psychologist

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Flint, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students throughout the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Offer guidance on academic interventions and behavioral strategies that promote positive student outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and comply with state and federal education regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license applicable to Michigan.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment.
• Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and data interpretation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and community resources.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
