Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support a K-12 school located in Simla, CO. This is a contract position for the upcoming school year, providing essential speech and language services to students across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and assist with special education eligibility processes as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of current best practices and assessment tools in speech-language pathology
