Position Highlights:

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

• Schedule: Variable shifts in an inpatient hospital setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications for hospitalized patients

• Perform sterile pounding and IV admixture in pliance with state guidelines

• Monitor drug therapy for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness

• Serve as a trusted medication resource for nurses and physicians

• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Respond effectively to Code Blue events (ACLS required)

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in TX, OK, or NM

• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

• ACLS certification (required for Code Blue response)

• Ability to meet state-specific sterile pounding requirements

Preferred:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
