Nephrology Faculty Opportunity

The Emory University Division of Nephrology, ranked Top 25 nationally by U.S. News & World Report, invites applications for a full-time Nephrologist to join our dynamic academic faculty.

Position Details 

  • Join a collegial team of 12 nephrologists, providing care across outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and dialysis services 
  • Practice at Emory University Hospital (EUH), a premier 750+ bed quaternary care center staffed entirely by faculty physicians representing over 70 subspecialties  
  • Work in a complex, high-acuity care setting, as EUH maintains one of the highest case-mix indexes in the region and leads in safety and outcomes 
  • Collaborate with Emory’s top-ranked schools and centers, including the Winship Cancer Institute, Georgia’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center 
  • Mentor and supervise trainees from the Emory Nephrology Fellowship (12 slots) and the Emory Internal Medicine Residency (177 slots), the largest IM program in GA

Qualifications 

  • ABIM board certified or eligible in Nephrology 
  • Open to candidates of all experience levels; fellows are encouraged to apply 
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia medical license 
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical nephrology, strong communication skills, and a commitment to academic and scholarly engagement
