Job Description
The Banquet Manager assists with hiring and training all banquet staff including scheduling and monthly meetings, illustrating proper techniques and etiquette for all styles of service. Supervise the set up of functions to include placement of linens, silver, china and glassware according to event specifications. Visually inspect function rooms and equipment for cleanliness, proper inventory and set-up. You'll be part of a dynamic team and work closely with culinary, sales, and operations departments to ensure a successful event from start to finish. Qualifications
- Previous supervisory/management experience and skills
- 2 years banquet management experience preferred
- Previous hotel food and beverage experience preferred
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Requires computer skills
- Strong business communication skills
