Your Game Plan – Assistant General ManagerAs Assistant General Manager, you are the heartbeat of our member experience and operations. You’ll lead the teams that deliver energy, service, and excellence across our most active and visible spaces—Kids Programming, Childcare, Personal Training, Tennis, and Aquatics. Your role is to ensure that every touchpoint—from a child’s first swim lesson to a guest’s first visit—is seamless, safe, and memorable.
You’ll coach department leaders, ensure program and service excellence, solve daily challenges, and lead the kind of high-performance culture that builds loyalty and community. Whether you're walking the floor, supporting your team, or collaborating with Membership, Facilities, and Operations, you’ll lead with presence and purpose.
Your Role on the TeamOversee daily operations and team performance across Kids Programming, Childcare, Personal Training, Tennis, and Aquatics
Ensure all programs and services meet high standards for safety, quality, and member satisfaction
Lead and develop a strong team of supervisors, coaches, and service professionals
Create systems and rhythms for training, accountability, and ongoing communication
Collaborate cross-functionally with Membership, Facilities, Events, and Marketing to support club goals
Monitor program budgets, schedules, and participation trends to drive growth and efficiency
Be highly visible and hands-on—on the floor, in the programs, and with the team
A passion for service and a talent for leading high-energy, member-facing teams
Experience overseeing a mix of youth and adult programming in a recreational, fitness, or hospitality environment
Strong communication skills—you’re calm, clear, and motivating
The ability to build systems, coach teams, and inspire a culture of accountability and care
A strategic mindset—you’re not just reacting to the day, you’re planning for the future
5+ years of leadership experience in fitness, recreation, youth programming, or hospitality
Proven ability to manage multiple departments or programs
Experience developing teams, managing budgets, and creating smooth daily operations
A people-first approach—you value relationships and know how to build a winning team culture
Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes peak member usage times (evenings/weekends)

Compensation & PerksWe offer a salary range of $75,000–$90,000, based on experience, with quarterly performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package:
