We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be the first point of contact for patients in need of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and supplies. This role is the heartbeat of our operations — balancing compassion, accuracy, and efficiency to ensure patients receive the equipment they need when they need it.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy, identifying customer needs and providing effective solutions.
  • Process DME and supply orders received by phone, fax, mail, or in person.
  • Accurately enter new and updated patient information into the database, including demographics, insurance, and physician details.
  • Verify insurance coverage and patient diagnosis to qualify orders.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate with patients, caregivers, and internal teams.
  • Assist with inventory checks and equipment ordering as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support after-hours patient needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Solid computer and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with DME, medical billing, or healthcare terminology is a plus.
