A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Manager to lead the social services team at a newly developed supportive housing residence in the Bronx. This role is ideal for a licensed clinical social worker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about housing equity, mental health, and community wellness.
The Program Manager will oversee a team of social workers and case managers, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services that promote stability, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of social service professionals.
- Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff as needed.
- Monitor and ensure timely and accurate documentation in the agency’s case management system.
- Track occupancy, demographic data, and service utilization; complete required reports for city and state agencies.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess tenant needs and implement wellness initiatives, support groups, and life skills programming.
- Facilitate monthly community meetings and respond to tenant feedback and grievances.
- Coordinate with on-site psychiatric and health providers to ensure integrated care.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Monitor rent payments and collaborate with housing staff to prevent tenancy risks.
- Manage unit turnover and coordinate with housing placement systems to fill vacancies.
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure culturally responsive, inclusive services for all tenants.
- Provide crisis support and emergency response as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- LMSW or LCSW in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in social services or behavioral health.
- Familiarity with NYC housing systems and case management platforms.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong clinical background in mental health and/or substance use.
