Science Gen Ed Teacher - Evanston, Illinois

Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a General Education Science teacher to work with middle school students. This position is based in Evanston, IL, and focuses on delivering engaging and prehensive science instruction to support student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver science lessons aligned with curriculum standards for middle school students
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to support student needs and school initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other necessary documentation

• Experience teaching General Education Science at the middle school level
