Physician / Emergency Medicine / Pennsylvania / Locum tenens / Urgent Care MD Job

Specialty accepted: Urgent Care MD or DO

Start date or shifts: September ? Ongoing

Daily schedule: Full-time preferred (12+ shifts/month) or Part-time (6+ shifts/month); Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM ? 8:00 PM

Practice setting: Urgent Care Clinic

Types of procedures: Suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, IVs

Number of patients: Average 3 to 4 patients per hour

Ages: All ages

Requirements: Board Certified; Pennsylvania license; DEA; ACLS; BLS; PALS; CSR license; minimum 2 years urgent care experience or 1 year emergency medicine experience; must be comfortable seeing all ages and working independently; Epic EMR experience required

Additional information: Providers will travel between nearby clinic sites (within 30 miles); temp privileges available; onsite support includes medical assistants and rad techs; if physician not physically on site, remote escalation support is available; providers must confirm procedural comfort in presentation; all high-acuity cases referred to ER; full travel support including lodging, airfare, mileage, and rental car reimbursement available.
