The AEM Technical Architect will join our national Adobe Business Unit. This position must live in Detroit and able to work in the office 3 days a week most of the time. Possibility to become remote after a while. Very light to no travel.

Job Overview:
The AEM Technical Architect will play a vital role in the architecture design, testing and deployment of Adobe Digital Marketing Solutions. Experience with Akami & Adobe, DevOps and Operations, Architect and implementation. You will work closely with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and end users to build a state-of-the-art Digital Marketing Platform using Adobe's Digital Marketing suite of products. You will mentor junior Architects and Developers as needed and oversee projects from an Architecture standpoint.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and configure Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Akamai for cloud-based solutions.
- Architect and design the component model that will be used to construct a Digital platform for both web and mobile using Adobe Experience Manager for global enterprises.
- Configure OSGI settings for an AEM install base.
- Install and Configure core code bundles for AEM related projects.
- Effectively communicate physical architectural designs to customers and present design options/considerations.
- Help to establish overarching program goals and objectives in the Digital marketing program for a customer.
- Develop AEM templates and components leveraging AEM Sightly framework.
- Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
- Help design analytics scenarios
- Design Content targeting Scenarios and architect how those scenarios will be implemented in AEM.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current experience in architecting at least 5 large implementations of Adobe Experience Manager where you were the main architect. AEM as a cloud service experience is required.
- Hands on experience with Akami & Adobe, DevOps and Operations to Architect and Implement is required.
- Experience in designing content lifecycle using Adobe and Adobe Marketing tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Web Content Management with AEM and 10+ years of IT experience.
- Able to work in the office 3 days per week.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
- A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
Preferred Skills and Education:
- Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing offshore teams.
- Master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Certification in Adobe Experience Manager (Architect).
