🏥 Job Title: Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)
- Location: Herrin, Illinois
- Shift: 08:00 – 18:30 (10-hour shifts)
- Days: 4 days per week with a rotating day off
- Call Requirement: 1 weeknight + 2 weekend days per month
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
🛠️ Role-Specific Responsibilities:
- Transporting and positioning patients
- Setting up and breaking down surgical instruments and tables
- Preparing the OR and patient for surgery
- Opening sterile supplies and maintaining sterile field
- Assisting with gowning and gloving
- Passing instruments and sutures during procedures
- Maintaining accurate count of surgical tools and materials
- Applying dressings and collecting specimens
- Cleaning and handling instruments per protocol
- Supporting efficient OR turnover
- Monitoring and restocking supplies
