🕒 Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Includes Every Other Weekend & Holidays
⏳ Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This RN will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care in a dynamic mental health setting for adult clients (18+).
💼 Job Summary:
The RN will manage and coordinate nursing care during the client's hospitalization, ensuring care is delivered in alignment with clinical standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Directing and supervising other healthcare personnel
- Providing hands-on patient care as needed
- Maintaining professional accountability for all care provided
- Applying strong nursing judgment and critical thinking skills
- Addressing economic and psychosocial barriers to care
✅ Essential Functions & Duties:
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality care to adult behavioral health patients
- Ability to lead and direct healthcare teams
- Adapt quickly to new techniques and protocols
- Engage in regular talking, hearing, and visual focus tasks
- Must be able to stand 4–6 hours per shift
- Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment
- Function within defined organizational policies and procedures
