Travel LTAC RN – Night Shift
Location: Wichita, KS
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 3x12s (Full-Time)
Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a night shift contract in Wichita, Kansas. This is a great opportunity to work in a long-term acute care hospital environment, providing high-quality care to medically complex patients while working with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Position Overview:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and new staff

• Conduct nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans

• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and in a timely manner

• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and discharge planning from the point of admission

• Promote patient and staff safety and adhere to hospital policies regarding infection control, patient handling, and environmental safety

• Communicate patient status updates to physicians and other care team members

• May serve in a charge nurse role as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state

• Minimum of one year of experience in LTAC or acute care preferred

• BLS required; ACLS preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
