Superintendent Carpenter

We are in need of a full time construction professional that is a very competent carpenter, but also understands and is able to supervise commercial and residential construction projects.  The ideal candidate must be proficient with all types of carpentry such as rough framing, trim, doors, cabinets, windows, and hardware.  Other duties at times will include supervising crews and subcontractors.  The candidate must be skilled enough with computers to communicate via email daily reports that involves microsoft excel and photo uploads to documents.  A laptop computer will be provided.  A minimum of 10 years carpentry experience is required.  Supervisory experience is not a requirement but is preferred. We will train a good carpenter to become a good supervisor.

We are a growing company with very steady work.  The position will include the use of a company truck and a monthly allowance for phone use.  Two weeks of PTO per year are included after six months and three weeks PTO after two years are offered.  Medical and retirement benefits can be discussed and potentially an option if the candidate needs coverage.  Federal and other major holidays are off. Weekend and night work is not expected.  The candidate will need basic hand tools, but all other tools and equipment will be provided.
