CRNA - Anesthesiology job available in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Position Overview
A large academic hospital in Philadelphia is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to support a high-volume anesthesia care team on a locum tenens basis beginning in ASAP.  With flexible shift options and a medically directed model, this is an ideal opportunity for skilled CRNAs seeking part-time or supplemental work. Emergency privileges are available for qualified candidates to expedite the onboarding process.Assignment Highlights

• Flexible scheduling – shifts available weekly with varied durations
• Minimum of 2 shifts/week required for consideration
• 12-hour shifts preferred, but 16- and 24-hour options available
• EMR: Cerner
• No call required
• 600+ bed academic facility with diverse case mix
• Emergency/temporary privileges available
• Patient volume: 4–6 cases per day
• Care team model – medically directed by anesthesiologists
• No AAs on staff – CRNA-only team
• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
• Prepaid travel and lodging available for non-local clinicians
• Medical malpractice insurance provided at no cost

Skills & Experience

• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required
• Board certification required
• Must be comfortable with a wide range of case types:
  • Thoracic
  • Major vascular
  • Orthopedics
  • Trauma
  • Neuro (occasionally)
  • Outpatient surgery (occasionally)
  • Pre-op assessments
• Spinal anesthesia/blocks preferred, but not required
• OB and regionals not required but welcomed
