Become a vital part of a Pendleton, OR hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support patient care and maintain imaging workflow.
\nMinimum Qualifications:
\n- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience, preferably in a hospital radiology setting.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (RT(R)(CT)).
- Current BLS certification.
- Oregon Medical Imaging license (required).
- Experience with McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR or similar systems.
- Experience performing both CT and general radiography exams. Typical volumes include approximately 5–10 CT exams and 10–20 X‑ray studies during the swing/evening shift.
- Familiarity with GE X‑ray and Toshiba CT equipment preferred.
- Ability to follow a department orientation checklist and complete required orientation hours.
Preferred Qualifications
\n- Radiation badge already issued prior to start is preferred but not required at time of submittal.
- Prior experience working with a single‑scanner CT department.
- Previous experience working with an evening or swing schedule in a hospital radiology department.
Assignment Details
\n- Shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 15:30–24:00 (per shift notes).
- Department: Radiology – CT/Xray (Computed Tomography).
- Orientation: 12 hours of department-specific orientation with an orientation checklist.
- Charting/PACS: McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR.
- Scanners/Rooms: 1 CT scanner in the department.
- Radiologist coverage on site until 17:00.
- No float to other areas required.
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements for this assignment.
