Location: Black Barn Kitchen at the Schoolhouse Restaurant, Bigham Knoll Campus, Jacksonville, OR

Pay: Competitive (based on experience)

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role:

We’re looking for skilled, dependable cooks to join our Back of House team. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen alongside a supportive crew, helping us deliver high-quality dishes with consistency and pride.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and execute menu items to recipe standards
• Maintain a clean and organized station
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work with the team to ensure smooth service and timely output
• Contribute ideas and support a creative, positive kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Oregon Food Handler’s Certification (required)
• Prior line-cook or back-of-house experience in a professional kitchen
• Positive attitude, integrity, and a willingness to learn—even if experienced
• No wannabe chefs—real cooks who can deliver!
• No first-timers or fakes—we need dedicated and reliable workers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take direction well

Required qualifications:

• Food Service license/certification: Food Handler's License
• Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
• Restaurant back of house skills: general food prep

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Restaurant back of house skills: catering setup & prep
